Nebulose

M42 - Orion closeup sent on November 08, 2021 (18:07) by Giancarlo Melis. 17 comments, 1510 views. [retina]

Very very beautiful, I believe that in the future all together we will go to enjoy these wonders "live".
Compliments.

I share your thought, photographically inflated object, but then when you try to take it back something is wrong!
Eas excellent shooting with many visible shades, desaturated core and little noise.
Compliments

Congratulations for the image, of which I really like in particular the detail of the filaments outside the nebula that really takes on the appearance of a "cocoon". Instead I must say that in this version I find that the trapezoid stars have been a bit too "depressed" by the PUSHED HDR processing. From this point of view I like more the original version that you had posted in February, with the stars of the trapezoid more in evidence as it happens in reality by observing the nebula through the telescope or binoculars. However, really remarkable technique, both in the acquisition and processing phases, congratulations!

Thanks to everyone for the passage :)
@Marzio Children :-) that bottom of the bottle gives me some satisfaction (but I assure you that it knows how to be rather capricious)
@Daniele Bonfiglio I thank you Daniele, you are right, in these elaborations there is always something that escapes me. At the moment the eye "gets used to" and when I go back I notice a thousand defects, it's like a short blanket ... I shoot on one side and I discover myself on the other :-)

Giancarlo thanks for your answer, however, I would not speak absolutely of defects but at most of different post-production approaches all still valid! hello, Daniele

I don't understand anything about astrophotography but I like the photos you can pull out. This is my all-time favorite.
