La Austin Healey 100 è una vettura con carrozzeria Spyder che fu costruita dal 1953 al 1958 in 4 serie con diverse varianti... e con differenti motorizzazioni... dalla BMC (British Motor Corporation) in Gran Bretagna. Questa visibile nella fotografia è una versione S... Sport Racing... che fu costruita in soli 50 esemplari... tutti con la carrozzeria in alluminio e la guida a destra... e solo nell'anno 1955. Era dotata di un motore con 4 cilindri in linea di 2660 cm3 che nel modello di serie erogava 90 cavalli di potenza mentre in questa versione S i cavalli erogati erano diventati 132 così che la vettura poteva raggiungere i 190 chilometri orari di velocità massima. La denominazione "100" rappresenta la velocità massima raggiungibile... espressa in miglia orarie... dal modello di serie che poteva arrivare ai 160 chilometri di velocità massima e da cui questa "S" era stata derivata. E' una vettura molto ricercata dai collezionisti in quanto rara. Questa immagine fu scattata sotto una pioggia torrenziale.
