First, thank you !
So for the light I mainly use one Strobe (Godox AD600) into a 110cm softbox. The placement is according to the scene and it can change with what result I want : Short light, broad light etc..(you should know your lighting patterns and why you use them) it's a mood thing.
The ND variable filter is used to keep the max sync speed without using the HSS feature because of the loss of power under bright conditions.
More over Godox HSS + TTL does NOT work (it's full power blast) on the Canon R5/6. Not a big problem but I tend to use TTL on the first shot to check light exposure, then if needed I switch to Manual (TCM).
That's it !
