An image I like. In my view I would have given more breathing space to the shot by gradually blurring the stem. He would have gained.
A greeting.
Marco.

Since you used an fs, why not close less to use the lens to a diaphragm that would have given a greater yield? Maybe f8. You may have had to take a few more shots, but you wouldn't have had a chance to go through the diffraction.

Thank you, Marco, meanwhile for your appreciation. I chose a narrow frame to give importance to the subject, the flower, which in reality is the size of a little fingera finger.

@Pigi47
I'm technically correct. I took to f/22 out of sheer frustration: I had already processed 40 shots at f/16 and then at f/18 but strangely the sprig around the white petals was never in focus despite there being some shots with fire on those areas. Then, I decreased the shots and, closing at f/22, I got the result I posted. In my opinion, in certain circumstances, software hangs and makes final images imperfect.
Howee, it seems to me, that the diffraction did no obvious damage ... 8-)
