I can't even imagine how such a wonder was achieved (can you explain it to us?)
only 35 likes are a disgrace :-(

Thank you all for your appreciation... also to you Delphinus! ;-)
I did it with my old setup, Canon 7DII + 2x + Canon 500L F4 IS II on Astrotrac (which by the way I have in sales)
Photograph the sun is simple, The tricky thing is to get the exact moment the ISS goes by, let me explain, there are those who make movies and then it's simple... I made a burst, so in that dozen shots the ISS had to be in front of the sun, because with 7D it's not like you can shoot for minutes like with modern ML! :-D

But do you get any tip for the exact location?

Beautiful realization congratulations! Out of curiosity the burst you did with RAW or jpeg? I for transits I do a lot of raw before / after the transit and then a burst of jpeg during the transit, so with my mirrorless I can make an infinite burst at about 5 fps and I'm sure to catch the passage! ;-)
How very detailed the ISS congratulations again!

Thanks Daniele, with the 7D you can not take the luxury of starting earlier because the buffer fills up immediately and therefore you have to be precise at the tenth of a second! Here I used an app connected to the atomic horogio of some city :-D

Zeppo forgot to ask you: what exposure times did you use for the ISS? When I photograph transits for fear of having a move due to the rapid movement of the ISS, I end up using such short times as 1/4000 seconds :-D
