Lens: Pentax A, 35-135, f/3,5-4,5 I took this photo in September 2019, in the surroundings of an open-air restaurant on Matalascañas beach (Huelva-Andalusia). It was a stray cat. Every time I return to the place, I remember the photo and I wonder what may have happened to him. Yesterday, two years later, I was eating in that restaurant and, suddenly, the cat appeared, begging food from people, meowing close to the tables. I immediately recognized him, and asked the waiter about the animal. He told me it is still a street cat, which disappears from there every summer, and comes back in autumn. Nobody knows where he goes or how he lives. The fact is that he returns every fall, to the same place, surely expecting to be fed by anybody , perhaps knowing that winter will be terribly harsh. After knowing the story, I am sure I will revisit the restaurant now and then, hoping to find him there once again; he deserves it. He is a true survivor
