FS di 40 immagini. Una delle prime immagini che realizzo con il nuovo Mitakon 85mm super macro. Il soggetto è una "Vanessa Io" che non ha superato l'inverno e che avevo ritrovato morta su un davanzale ad inizio primavera. #FocusStack #FocusStacking

Congratulations on the great work! Uniform and non-invasive light, good detail and no special aberrations. It seems to work well the new toy!! 8-) Ps. Have you tried to close a little more and see if it improves further?

Thanks Marzio, it is the first tests and for now I have always closed the diaphragm little also because I fear you will soon fall into the field of difphert (but I will have to do some tests). For the tests done it seems to me that working at 1x and F/2.8, the actual opening is about F/16. To arrive at this conclusion I compared the shooting times that I get by framing a sheet illuminated by a lamp and two different lenses: in practice I got the same time of laying with the 135mm F/2 set to F/16 and the Mitakon to 1x and F/2.8.
For lighting I used the standard LED ring with the lens and overall I think it does its job well.

Practically a shot under the microscope, great and interesting, very nice to see these details. Congratulations Nicola.

Thank you Martinclimber. Consider that the goal used is not an "all do". If you have any questions or curiosities, write to me in private.
