-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This morning, just before dawn, the International Space Station flew over central Italy. I wanted to try a long focal length shot to try to capture as many details as possible, compatibly with an instrument with which I could not automatically follow its motion. I then mounted 2 duplicators (2x + 3x) at 400mm F2.8 stabilized on the FF reflex camera to obtain a 2400mm focal length and burst during the passage, following it manually and trying to frame it in as many frames as possible. the best frame obtained, near the maximum approach (420 Km from my observation point).

Taranis, the ISS travels at about 28,000 km/h, it's probably what you say! :-)
Thoit was really difficult to keep her on the frame at 2400mm of focal, considering the 5 kg abundant of instrumentation and traveling at about 1st per second....

Great photo Cristian!
Beccarla will have been more difficult than using Galileo's telescope.
