la messa a fuoco va fatta generalmente sul primo piano e quindi non importa più di tanto se le stelle non sono puntiformi. L'ideale sarebbe comunque avere soggetto e cielo entrambi all'infinito. Il soggetto di questa foto non è male anche se, come dici tu, la prossima volta ti tocca dare una mano di luce anche al terreno .
Sullo strar trail invece avrei alcune osservazioni. Prima di tutto è necessario fare più pose (per un totale di 1.30-3.00 ore) in modo da aumentare un po' di più gli archi migliorandone così l'effetto globale. Inoltre non lasciare spazi tra uno scatto e l'altro  ...
