Milky Way - Capraia Island test 1 sent on June 23, 2020 (10:58) by Inverno_Muto. 4 comments, 379 views. [retina]

, Posa B f/1.8, ISO 250, tripod.

Successful test I would say.
I would just try to close a strand the diaphragm to have the most correct stars and with the most faithful colors.

I've read several texts about it and most people say that being set with focus on infinity closing the diaphragm doesn't bring big differences.
Ys you don't think so?

?. Because by closing, but just a little hair, you reduce optical defects like the purple fringe for example.

Capito, thanks ;-)

Hello. I have to agree with Giancarlo, but, since a year has passed, you will have already discovered it yourself: closing one or two diaphragms reduces distortion. If you look at the left and right ends of this photo the stars are not point-like.
Beautiful anyway, and the colors seem faithful to me!
