1/2500 f/4.5, ISO 1600, tripod.

Durante i giorni di fresco passati sulle Dolomiti insieme agli amici Lorenzo e Perla, non abbiamo resistito alla tentazione di fare una foto deep sky, incoraggiati soprattutto dal bel cielo che ci si è presentato la sera del 27 agosto, dopo una giornata di piovaschi. Abbiamo così montato la montatura EQ5, il rifrattore "Mizar" ED da 72mm F6 gentilmente prestato dall'amico Gianclaudio, l'autoguida LVI, la 20DA con filtro Baader e abbiamo eseguito 19 pose da 5 minuti a 1600 iso e 6 dark. La temperatura era probabilmente sui 12-15 gradi, e ci trovavamo su un paesino qualche km a sud di Bressanone, Velturno, ad una quota di circa 900 metri slm. Vi propongo quanto scaturito dalla somma di questi fotogrammi, realizzata con Photoshop, cercando di spremere al massimo il segnale acquisito. Spero vi piaccia! Un grazie di cuore all'amico Lorenzo, instancabile ed entusiasta collaboratore durante le riprese!

Great shot! Just a shame that a piece of the nebula have been out ... but if the focal length is that you can not do much less of a laborious mosaic.

Exactly Claire, unfortunately, the right focus for this object is about 300/350, we were a little bit longer .... we tried to do everything possible to take the "big" of nebulosity.
