Doctors on the front line 1 sent on April 25, 2020 (19:54) by Sergio Bartolomeo. 99 comments, 1284 views.

Thank you Paolo, I am very pleased with your appreciation of these shots. From a photographic point of view this is better composed, the other, on the other hand, cuts some characters at the top, but it is impactful for the close shot that better describes the faces of those men. The prints are well preserved, minus the negatives, but recoverable and slowly I will publish a few more shots.
A very affectionate hug, soon, good Sunday to you too.

Thanks to Agata, the title is meant to be a small tribute to the colleagues who chose the medical profession, they committed, then as now, to help those affected by wars.
Thank you for your sharing and appreciation for the work that is committing me, especially in the restoration of the images taken from the negatives, more fragile and in fact more damaged
A dear greeting, soon

Two beautiful period documents, a beautiful tribute to the medical class of then and today.
As Roberto says the mountain in the background is the Owl, so we are in the Bellunese.
Compliments Sergio, bye!
Serge ;-) :-P

Roberto!!
I was happy!!! :-P
I was hoping so much that someone more experienced than me, from those places, could recognize them.
There is absolutely your localization, in some other print, on the back, I read the note in pencil, which brings back to the Bellunese.
I thank you very much for your appreciation and for adding an important piece to this historical and geographical reconstruction that I am making
A warm greeting
Sergio

Thank you very much also Sergio, I am very happy for your location of the shot, I was almost certain it was the Veneto, but I had no idea of the exact place.
Thanks also very much for the sharing of thought towards doctors on the front line, yesterday, as today.
A very dear greeting
Sergio

Congratulations, Sergio, also for this other beautiful image and for the shareable dedication to the doctors who fell in this "war" against the covid 19 !

Ospedalletto (50 places) from camp near C April, where the wounded who came from the front of the Col of Lana were treated, we are in the municipality of Alleghe and in the background, yes the Owl.
Find a lot of info on the web.
Thank you bye!

Wow Mansu!
Thank you, thank you very much for your further information. I'm overjoyed you found them, I'm glad the photo stimulated you in this little search.
You added tiles to the story of my wife's relative.
Anni years ago I was in Alleghe and, he thinks, it was my first holiday with the new girlfriend of that time, who later became my wife. The great-grandson of the photographer who is the one in the middle of the trio of sitting in the front row, in the center of the frame. Medical officer.
Thank you again
A great greeting

This is also very beautiful. The ones behind are the Dolomites and if I'm not mistaken we are in Bellunese, reminding me of the landscape I saw when I was teaching in those places in the 80s.
