Great scene in a dramatic bn.
Although knowing Sardinia I saw for the first time these masks in a Sardinian restaurant in Rome that was called just that, I am very fond of the name and tradition that it remembers.

The traditions, the culture of a people, being there during the parade must be a very strong emotion, their sound must enter you inside and make the parts of the body vibrate and awaken the primordial nature of man, this I can imagine in their passage.
Congratulation Joseph ;-)

In Sardinia, among people left secluded and almost isolated from the rest of the world, a primitive faculty of mixing reality with legend and dream is prolonged, more than in other regions. (Guido Piovene). Greetings Rino.

Do you know that even in Albanian monkey translates with majmun? The origins of peoples are very interesting stories to try to discover, in this sense semantics can come to the rescue to understand so many things.
..... Forgot.... gorgeous, strong and ancestral photo :-o
A big hello
