Il viaggio in Uganda si è svolto in gran parte su strade davvero difficili. La pioggia quasi quotidiana rende le strade sterrate incredibilmente fangose. Anche i grandi 4x4 hanno grosse difficoltà a procedere in certi tratti e se non c'è un buon driver diventa difficile uscirne. In più di un occasione abbiamo aiutato qualcuno che si era impantanato. La strada che proviene dal Congo viene usata anche da camion articolati che se si impantanano rimangono fermi per ore fino a quando il terreno non diventa secco oppure fino a quando non arrivano mezzi pesanti per tirarli fuori.
