Hello Leonardo and congratulations for the commendable initiative that I share in full!!
Surely I will follow her step by step to understand even more your points and photo cues. I was in Iceland for the first time at the end of March of this year, but obviously the adrenaline and the desire to see the "usual" places diverted my attention from everything around me... So congratulations on how you set up this trip.
I'll say my own, it might be a top-down photo most likely with a drone, but it would be too obvious.... however I do not know if you have hidden the data of lens and camera deliberately or not :-P .
I think they're boot prints/boots on the slush, they could be on the Verstahorn.
Greetings

Hello

Hello Leonardo... you have found a way to intrigue me and to look forward to the other photos of "your" Iceland!
for this photo I would say that maybe it's a detail of the edge of a spa pool or something that has to do with volcano-thermal phenomena.

Remarkable photo for light, chrome and detail, and at the same time very enigmatic. In summary: beautiful!!!
I agree with Salvo that it might be a boot print on the slush, but it seems too trivial, so I look forward to the answer.
Greetings.

Well, time to unravel the arcane :-D
, I'd say you got very close! It might seem like an aerial shot, but it's not; they are mud puddles shaped by the wind and continuously moistened by a nearby waterfall. :-) Much less romantic now, isn't it? :-D
As far as the talk of the boots is concerned, they are not human footprints as it is a rather large area made all so with these puddles (I don't think anyone has set their shoes to create these things :-D) and above all it is out of the tourist routes, so let's say that the few people who could pass us were definitely not enough to recreate such a scene.
Thank you all for the comments guys!
A greeting, Leonardo

It is amazing how the world "micro" (the one of the shot in question) can resemble the world "macro" (possible aerial photo). Congratulations!

very good, you always have to find new ways of seeing things, situations that others escape ;-)

Great shot without a doubt, I immediately come to mind a piece of polished wood whose shutters were filled with resin. By the eye it looks like an aerial photo of an Icelandic landscape as mentioned in the introduction.

I prefer this one to the EP... I don't know why... maybe three-dimensionality and less strong colors...
Luigi :-)

Congratulations Leonardo. I am fascinated by the idea of finding "the beautiful" in unusual subjects, or that we have under the eyes but which we do not notice. You have done this with great skill. The other photos in the series are also beautiful, of course, but these where the subject is not easily detectable at first glance are the ones I like the most.
