La spiaggia nera di Reynjsfjara, nei pressi di Vik, Costa Sud Islandese. Questo per me è uno dei luoghi più magici, non solo d'Islanda … proprio una meraviglia. La spiaggia è completamente nera, come nel resto dell'Islanda meridionale, a causa della cenere e dei detriti di origine vulcanica prodotti dall'erosione. La veduta d'insieme offre paesaggi davvero spettacolari. Come i blocchi di colonne di basalto, che si ergono sulla riva come le canne di un organo gigantesco. Lo scenario è reso ancora più suggestivo dai Reynisdrangar, due enormi faraglioni che si tuffano nel mare. Secondo la leggenda sarebbero due troll, sorpresi dalla luce albeggiante del sole mentre erano intenti a trasportare una nave e quindi trasformati in pietra. In lontananza è possibile scorgere Dyrhólaey, uno dei luoghi più scenografici dell'Islanda. Spero di avergli reso onore.. ma posterò qualche altra foto.. Ogni commento e critica sono come sempre apprezzati !
