The luck of finding a "collaborative" macabre is fundamental to the success of such a photo... but you still need the skill to know how to exploit it!
And I would say that it is your case: scary sharpness, NATURAL background (I always like to emphasize it, in beard to fashions... i've also succumbed to it sometimes :-D) and blurred very well!
Here, the perch looks a bit improvised (I think you could find better) and the pose you caught an unnatural hair.
But, I repeat... such a millimeter sharpness and colors so "watercolor" they make themselves forgive everything :-)

Hello Emmanuel, really beautiful this macaon, you were also lucky enough to find a specimen just born still perfect and you immortalized it in all its beauty. Excellent sharpness and right vertical cut. Happy weekend, hello Fabrizio

Thank you Ilaria and of course I can't wait to see your version! :-D
Fabrizio thank you very much! This morning if I have to be honest I was very excited, it is the first time I can photograph a Macaone and certainly in a hurry I made several errors of execution starting, as said by Ilaria, from the choice of the perch not properly elegant. I am still very satisfied with the final result but I hope in the future to be able to do better!
P.S: I also posted an open-wings version :)

Great work for sharpness and composition, maybe a little too hard light on the subject.

Detail and composition are more than valid, for the perch personally I do not mind especially if I look at mine, but unfortunately it is what I have available. Beautiful background so varied.
If he had given you the time after the shot I would have waited for it to dry out a bit but these are personal tastes.

Great shot. Excellent sharpness and, to my taste, also very nice the perch. Personally I would have left a little more space on the sides and, perhaps, I would have opened the diaphragm a little more. Congratulations. Hello.

Thank you Lucio, in the hurry and for fear of letting me get away I did not care much about the composition. On this shot was not made any crop but only a scaling that I always do to my photos before posting them on juza so unfortunately the space on the sides I should have created it artificially :-D As for the diaphragm is worth the same, let's say that most likely even at f11 would have worked and I would have made a blur more homogeneous but if I to be honest I like it more so, but I think it goes to tastes :) I have to admit that this (splendid) lens gives the best of itself up to f14 where it is really punchy, I can not explain it (maybe diffraction?) but comparing the same photo with more closed diaphragm I noticed a drop in sharpness, already at f16 you notice this drop this drop in fact, beyond I try never to push myself. Otherwise it's really a lens to have.
