Hello Ilario :-)
The ascent (from The Rif.Chabod) is a pleasant crossing on the Laveciau glacier, however not very frequented.. unfortunately the situation changes radically when you cross the way up from the Rif. Victor Emmanuel II and the situation becomes similar to that of an outlet on the first day of the balances!! :-or :-D
Sinthem because the rocky peak of the Great Paradise and the view you enjoy from it is really remarkable.. ;-)
Hello and thank you!! :-)

yes, including the rudeness of too many climbers who would be willing to step on you with crampons to get past. The last time I climbed after about 1 hour of waiting to make the last 10 meters I went disgusted and climbed on the sand to the right of the hill .... same panorama and no one to break the ciap!
Congratulations for the photo, nice b/n.

I understand you. and think that the mountain should bring out the best qualities of people!! :-D
But In my case the tail was created by "manifest inability" of a quartet of individuals who thought well to monopolize the summit rocks first uphill and then also downhill.. :-o
And precisely because of the much cold accumulated while waiting the stay on the very crowded summit was short and once descended the rocks of the summit we immediately went in search of the sun along the way down giving up, a little reluctantly, a few clicks extra! :-(
Thank you for the passage.. hello!! :-)

Congratulations on the not easy realization shot for all the reasons you have described. Beautiful classic. Pietro

Thank you Peter!! :-) More than the difficulties (relative.. :-D ) in taking the photo the "displeasure" was to have found anyway so many people despite the choice to make the climb on Saturday and not on Sunday. :-(
But you're right.. a beautiful classic!! ;-)

Hello Ermanno! Great shot of the summit of the Great Paradise. I'd say very well composed. I take this opportunity to wish you a happy birthday in addition to the best wishes for a happy holiday!
A soon. ;-)

Great shot and great summit..congratulations..4000 nn I still have made. but some 3000_3500 yes. and already there, just 10 minutes to wait for the condition and the right light can be heavy, depressing. who hasn't tried it maybe can't understand it. also because maybe you wait, maybe in the cold, over,in conditions that maybe spoil the 4/5 hours of descent, with the risk of taking water or worse (fog); and maybe the ideal conditions for a good shot don't even come. just estimate! Hello Paul. First of all thank you for the nice comment and Best Wishes for this new year! ;-)
About the Great Paradise is a beautiful mountain because it is a 4000 marked by a rocky and non-trivial peak.. but, as I wrote in the comment, the real difficulty is to be able to take a shot without including the "crowd" that reaches its top daily! :-D

Hello Ermanno, the photo is beautiful.
I was there 40 years ago with skis and there was no one there!!

A wonderful place, it certainly amazes the exaggerated go-go that you see in such a place. When I was there unfortunately there were low clouds that did not allow me to see such a landscape, but the emotions experienced I will never forget them. Bravo and congratulations

Hello Mario :-)
s least 40 years ago the frequenting of the mountain in general but in particular the "high" mountain was still a bargain for a few or at least not for "everyone" as it happens today! :-o this can mean that you have to take a firm hour and wait for a small group of decidedly inexperienced people to pass a few meters equipped. Mah! :-o
Thank you.. and we hope to pass this moment quickly! ;-)

Hello Alpha_A5100 :-)
the place definitely deserves and I must say that, at least until the intersection with the way up from Vittorio Emanuele, it is also quite quiet.. then the discourse changes decidedly!! :-o I'm sorry you couldn't fully enjoy the view but I can understand that you were still excited!! ;-)
Thanks and a big good luck in these surreal days.. :-)
Ermanno
