at 16mm, 1/125 f/6.3, ISO 400, hand held. Roma, Italy.

Fascinating image. I share all of your proposal. The text I read it all in one breath and you made me trace back those old memories of childhood populated by characters now unavailable. There was the seller of smoked ricotta that ran with two baskets, and in the second held the lemons. He was spinning house by house, what a life and how much effort for a few lire. What would I give to go back a moment and honor them and remember them with a scstto. Thank you so much Grandpa Baker for giving me this emotion. The picture is beautiful.
Bye Josh ;-)

Gios, I thank you for the beautiful comment. You recalled figures that are well engraved even in my memory. And we want to add the ice salesman? Or the banquet with the raw mussels to eat on the spot watered with lemon juice? Stuff you only get arrested today if you think it :-) There was a banquet, for these mussels, in Largo Preneste, at the terminus of the tram from where the old line 13, the one with the oldest trams and today used only as tourist attraction. Thank you very much for having shared and appreciated a memory of my boyhood. Have a nice weekend.

But what a beautiful and nice expression you were able to seize grandpa. I didn't know this term "Er Fusaiaro". As they say, you never end up learning. Though... Though... But of Lupini and olives Some discarded I have done, as you say other times.. :-D
Congratulations
A greeting
Max

Thanks, Max, your visits are always a pleasure.
"Er Fusaiaro" is Gergale, in Rome the Lupins have always been called "Fusaie". The good ones say "the seller of Lupini" :-)
