at 200mm, 1/200 f/4.0, ISO 800, hand held. Etosha National Park, Namibia. Specie: Antidorcas marsupialis

I didn't have the good fortune to see an exceptional rain in Etosha Park, at what time did it happen to you?

End of February or the season of small rains. But this was the only storm and the situation was already difficult with the pools almost dry. I know from a friend who spends part of the year in Namibia that there are currently almost no more animals in Etosha. For the past few months, a large number of animals have broken through the fences to the north in search of water towards the Okawango valley where there are also cultivated areas. In Damaraland we met various areas with all the dry vegetation and defoliated trees. Climate change is obvious. We hope well for the future. Greetings

Rain is getting rarer in Namibia! We'd need a lot more! Nice document!
