Efe Murat, il cargo turco incagliato dalla notte tra venerdì e sabato a pochi metri dalla riva della spiaggia barese di Pane e Pomodoro. Dopo aver scaricato granaglie a Ortona, il comandante ha deciso di prendere il mare verso le coste turche nonostante le condizioni meteo fossero avverse secondo le previsioni, una scelta fatale! Con le sue 2900 tonnellate e 96 metri di lunghezza, il mercantile si è appoggiato con un fianco a una barriera frangiflutti, esattamente davanti al bar della spiaggia cittadina. I 15 marinai dell'equipaggio sono stati fatti sbarcare con mezzi di fortuna stamattina. La nave imbarca acqua ed è inclinata su un fianco, fortunatamente è completamente scarica (a parte il carburante) limitando così gli eventuali danni all'ambiente.
