i nostri due amici conosciuti sull'isola di Sylt stanno per iniziare la regata prendendo il mare. Buona fortuna. Antonello Ciabatti e Luisa Mereu parteciperanno alla World Cat, un regata per catamarani di tipo Hobie Cat, a cui vengono invitati i dieci migliori specialisti al mondo, uno per nazione. I due velisti del Windsurfing Club Cagliari sono in partenza per il tempestoso mare del Nord, precisamente per Sylt, località tedesca al confine con la Danimarca per partecipare ad uno delle più prestigiose ed esclusive regate al mondo della classe Hobie Cat. Antonello Ciabatti: "Siamo orgogliosi di aver ricevuto questo invito per rappresentare l'Italia in questo singolare evento. Avremo la barca con le vele tricolori, proprio per far capire che si tratta di una vera e propria Nation Cup. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a partecipare ai Campionati Europei conclusi da qualche giorno, quindi abbiamo tanta voglia di fare bene. Luisa Mereu: "Regatare nel Mare del Nord mi spaventa un poco ma a Sylt saremo comunque agguerritissimi. Speriamo solo di trovare un clima, se non Mediterraneo, almeno clemente. Regatare ad alti livelli è sempre molto stimolante: non vedo l'ora di iniziare con le regate" Lunedì prossimo l'evento inizia con la consegna di barche e vele a cui seguirà la cerimonia d'apertura con la presentazione degli equipaggi. Le prime prove in mare saranno Martedì e si svolgeranno su percorsi particolari che saranno decisi dal Comitato Organizzatore giorno per giorno, per garantire spettacolo e visibilità dalla spiaggia. Domenica sarà l'ultimo giorno di regata e, alla premiazione, si saprà il nome del team campione della World Cat. (PRESS MARE)
