Scansione da dia, qualità scarsa. Estate 1990. Questa immagine è dedicata a Cesare, maestro di montagna e di vita per molti di noi. Cesare mi ha approcciato all'arrampicata nel senso pieno della parola. Non solo finalizzato alla tecnica, ma soprattutto al senso morale e spirituale del termine. A lui io e molti della mia compagnia dobbiamo tanto; era un secondo padre a tutto tondo. GRAZIE CESARE! Questa è una via che aprimmo nell'estate del 1990 io, Marino (quello ritratto nella foto), Ezio e il mio amico-fratello Mauro, sulle pareti strapiombanti che incombono sopra la zona industriale di Trento nord del monte Soprassasso. Per chi conosce la zona sono visibilissime dal fondovalle e impressionano per la loro verticalità. Un salto di circa 500/600 mt di roccia, senza soluzione di continuità. Ci impegnò parecchio negli scampoli di tempo che si dedicava la sera dopo il lavoro per la progressione lenta e faticosa. Quasi tutta chiodata con chiodi spit a espansione. Solo nella fessura del diedro finale usammo cunei di legno e ancoraggi friend (a quei tempi una novità dal costo improponibile per noi). La intitolammo la Via dell'Oroloi (via dell'orologio) in ricordo dei contadini che faticavano nelle campagne sottostanti. Stimavano l'ora del giorno tramite l'ombra del diedro (tetto) che si intravede nella parte in alto che si proiettava sulla parete, in base al periodo dell'anno ovviamente. Una bio-meridiana di pietra. Gli orologi i nostri nonni li indossavano (chi li possedeva) solo nelle festività. La via fu ripetuta (a tutt'oggi) solo due volte, per quello che sono a conoscenza. Poi fu abbandonata anche per il rimboschimento del sentiero d'accesso da noi tracciato.
