Francesca è una donna di ottanta primavere, non ha figli e suo marito è morto quasi dieci anni fa. Qualche tempo fa, un'amica le presentò Dunja (la giovane donna che vedete nella foto), simpatizzarono subito e da allora vivono insieme. Dunja l'accudisce come fosse sua madre. Francesca è rinata, è una donna felice ma la novità più singolare è che, nel periodo delle vacanze estive, partono insieme alla volta di Lubiana. Non si lasciano mai, nonostante Francesca sia autosufficiente, Dunja la segue come un'ombra fedele.
