È il gufo più grande del mondo e, nonostante l'aspetto buffo, è un formidabile predatore. In Italia è presente ovunque più o meno intensamente tranne in Sicilia, ma questo scatto è stato fatto in Sicilia a Noto, girava per strada, tenuto sulla mano da un ragazzo. ---- Se poi il soggetto non è un Gufo Reale non mi importa...e come un vecchio gufo che più sapeva e più taceva, più taceva e più sapeva...taccio.
