A nord ovest di Bosa la montagna sale sino a 800 metri sul livello del mare con Monte Mannu e Sa Pittada, nei territori pensili sul mare sono ubicati molti ovili in gran parte abbandonati o in rovina, ma da questi si gode un panorama unico sulla costa da Bosa verso Alghero e sul mare Mediterraneo sino a perdita d'occhio, nel cielo volteggiano i Grifoni giganteschi avvoltoi che numerosi popolano questa parte di Sardegna, scendono dal monte al mare seguendo le correnti ascensionali. Sostare a osservare il mondo da questa prospettiva allontana l'uomo dalla civiltà e lo riconcilia con la terra e il cielo. Questo è un'ovile nella zona del Marragiu il capo a nord di Bosa a mezza costa tra la montagna e il mare.
