Spesso cerco di riprendere l'Etna da angolazioni e prospettive che ne esaltino le forme, che ne facciano percepire la mole e che consentano di capire come questo maestoso vulcano si integra nel paesaggio siciliano. In questa circostanza sono stato fortunato e grazie a diverse congiunture (luce, manto nevoso, assenza di foschia, ecc.) sono riuscito a scattare questa foto; guardandola mi ricorda molto il Monte Fuji, anche grazie alla cospicua neve che fino a non molto tempo fa era presente.
