Finlandia Giugno 2012

Thanks Jordan
is not the same wolf, for which it would be impossible to photograph in the Apennines. ;-)

Apart from this always, I 've also written several times on this forum, I argue that any picture of a wolf taken Italy has intrinsic value in itself a very high ..

But I do not think this takes anything for a photo taken in Finland also because the situation of the wolves in that country, unfortunately, is not at all rosy: they can be hunted and are reduced to a few tens of units, while Italy is one positive and studied in the world for a growth rate beyond all expectations even considering that it was not put in place any plans in this regard.

I have for example been on 'Appennino Bologna in an area where the wolves are an uncle of a friend saw two young men playing a few feet away from him and also 'were fingerprints and other marks on all sides. It 'possible that applying for days like I did in Finland probably some results I brought home ... Sometimes in Finland, in the place where we have photographed, also spend three weeks in a sighting and 'other (to patrol their territory takes about two weeks) and are more wolves, the first click when shooting when they are 2 / 300 meters feel it and you put on alert, poised to flee ....
The big difference is that in Finland there are those who work to make sure that you can shoot while here there are no such situations ....

Memy, mine was just a simple observation ... I know very well that in the Apennines some photos do not do this, or you are lucky as I was the 20 regions fa.Negli last 10-15 years have seen at least a dozen times always lontano.Forse living (in the upper Forlivese) and applying for several days, you might have more chance ... I do from Ravenna effort. :-)
Congratulations again Jordan

I wanted to say is that they are two different sottspecie ... the Finnish and spread north Euroa is the Canis lupus lupus while the Italian is the Canis lupus italicus ....

Surely you have done a great shot! ;-) And what matters is that the sightings are becoming more frequent in the hope that this "confidence" can not damage them because beliefs against the wolves are still too rooted ...

I had not seen this, very beautiful for the attitude and the two included in the stretched frame.
