Autoscatto durante la visita di una delle molte grotte di scorrimento lavico dell'Etna, in questo caso una delle piu' semplici da percorrere, dove si possono riconoscere le tipiche morfologie che caratterizzano questo tipo di cavità quali: finestre, striature, rotoli ecc. La peculiarità di queste grotte è che si formano durante le eruzioni con lo scorrimento di colate laviche sufficientemente fluide come quelle che spesso caratterizzano l'attività dell'Etna, in questo caso si è formato un tunnel di scorrimento lavico. Durante lo scorrimento della lava infatti, le parti superficiali si raffreddano piu' velocemente ispessendosi e fungendo da coibente per le zone piu' interne che, restano quindi piu' fluide, possono scorrere fino all'esaurirsi del flusso lavico. #Vulcano #Grotta #Luce #Esplorazione
