, tripod. Etna, Italy.

In tutti questi secoli di vita e considerando l'irrequietezza dell'Etna, questo favoloso albero ne avrà viste tante e il fatto che sia arrivato fino ai nostri giorni con tutta la sua bellezza intatta fa pensare ad un miracolo. reminds me of the magical setting of Harry Potter, very impressive and almost imaginative, I find the backlight managed a fantastic way, since that direct sun and low does not affect the beauty and definition of the trunk and branches (my backlit are to say nothing elementary ... !!!) so nice, nice, well done, hello G

when we talked about 'embracing the trees' ... here, looking at this picture the desire that comes is just that! : D

Nicolò, spectacular! here it really seems to be face to face with nature

a good greeting

John

This tree is of a unique beauty: you have valued it with this shot, of great charm!
The only "thing" I feel about doing, especially for personal taste, concerns the shadows: I find a little too open the shadows on the trunk and the branches in the backlight ... closing them, however, leaving the details readable, it would naturally gain, in my opinion! ;-)

Very nice also this Nico, although I preferred the other with your sister (gave the idea of ??the immense size of this fabulous plant).
However good light management; you are always a reference for the undersigned!
A good greeting. :-D

Beautiful colors, beautiful shading, the sun with its rays passing through branches and leaves is the icing on the cake. Thanks also for the caption. Congratulations and soon.
Salvo :-)

You immediately recognize your style, even before you open the picture. Nice Nicolò .... I know how difficult it is to handle this type of backlight, especially when the shot is just one .... Congratulations! Gianfranco :-P

This version takes less of the other because it is too exasperated for proximity to the subject but enjoys a more glamorous and well-maintained light! The plant is truly magnificent and it would be a great pleasure to enjoy a few minutes in front of her. The Lecci are really long and magnificent trees and this is one of the most majestic specimens I have ever seen! ..shore the advice on the shadows observed by Alberto ..

This lettuce born in the Middle Ages has come to us not as archaeological ruin but with the life pulsating in its lymph: it is a true national monument like Greek temples. We hope to live for a long time. The 16mm failed to hold it all. The backlight is magical though a little light on the trunk would have exalted its charm.

Wonderful is to say little, really perfect !! Too bad a bit for the sharpness on the trunk, but at 99% a great photo
