Thanks Marco!

I was looking for a shot a little 'different from the usual and this mom watching us closely with the puppy playing behind him, gave me this idea.
Frankly, I have to say that came exactly as I 'd thought to momemnto shooting ...

I like it
maybe I would have preferred a little more with his mother readable but in these cases, each may have a different perception.

Thanks Simon,
the choice has been to blur as much as possible (thanks to the 300 2.8 I must reiterate that it is a spectacular lens!) because I'm still convinced that it makes the best 'idea of ??a looming presence that controls and protects all times .
So com 'is, as I see it, it says you have to read, you can see your eyes and you can imagine the' unfriendly attitude of the mother, but rightly so, as you said yourself, in any assessment come into the field perception and tastes of everyone.

The shot is nice but I have made some of the best .... but it was very vicinowow!
If I were in your place I do not think that the stabilizer would be able to avoid the blur:-D

Thanks Serpero,
honestly this is one of my favorite pictures also because I feel a bit 'more original than others ... but it is clearly a matter of taste.

The stabilizer 300 2.8 works fine! ;-)
Seriously, even though we were all 'open and a few meters from them, I have always felt very comfortable and safe, but of course you should always carefully consider their attitude and we must never let our guard down ..

I'm not sure about the programs of 'summer / autumn 2013 that, to be safe, since it's an experience I want to repeat soon and considering that they began to miss the people, the' agency of Kamchatka gave me the pleasure of reserve 6 day at the right time at the lake ... ;-)
Who is interested let me know why do you arrange for time ..

Often mothers prefer less places teeming with salmon, but safer for children. The presence of salmon also attracts large males that can kill children. I witnessed this summer in one of these situations. Luckily mom iorsa was able to successfully cope with the large male. but since then we have not seen Mom and puppies there.
I always find it difficult to interpret the photo double deck focus and I always suspected that it could communicate what steasa focusing on the first floor. I read the message of the nice picture anyway

Thanks Mark and Milo!
In fact, the day that was the dominant male and females with cubs were gone .. We have seen a furious fight between two females and only in those moments you realize of 'aggression that may have these animals.
I understand the concerns but choosing not to focus on the mother was desired to give the 'idea of ??a presence and in my opinion would have made little sense to do the opposite above all with a shot like this.

I fully agree, and I appreciate the choice ;-)
