Very nice Steff but personal taste I would have avoided the blur in pp around the pit,
It looks too much artifact ...
Personal taste, of course.
Congratulations on catching ....

Thanks 1000 to everyone!
Luca, no blur, I just scorched the sx area to better isolate the subject. I use Lr and blur it does very little.
The photo has very little pdc being the subject very, very close.in fact, the paws are not in focus and I did make it understand also in the caption.in such cases it creates a strong detachment between the sharpest subject and the background that obviously goes out Fire and illumination. Anyway degustibus, double thanks for the comment

Hi Steff I talked about blur because the trunk behind the axiom is much more focused than the background ....
But surely you are right is due to the lighting factor ..... creates cmq a strange effect :-D
Thanks x the clarification and still compliments x the catch ;-)

No problem Luca.ho also checked the raw .the trunk behind it is a lot + in focus compared to the background because the background is far + far.tutto li.se you want me to send me your mp mail and i turn the scan to LR to zero parameters .
You will see that I have intervened on the illumination as it is necessary to do in every photo with flash but no blurry. Else Lr does not have this feature. With the brush you can take sharpness locally but blur effects do not even talk about it.
I agree with the "strange" effect due to the proximity of the subject that creates a strong detachment of the planes. We are less than 5mt
A greeting
Stephen

Beautiful subject and photo Stefano, a curiosity the hot light effect is wanted in pp or some amber filter on the flash.

Thanks Carmelo and thanks x the visit.
I do not use any filter on the flash. To focus on this case I used my nitecore attached to the hood.
It does so light but slightly green / blue. Then I put the snap in pp back to white on which I prioritize because it is what I'm "dirty" of green / blue. Use the "lightroom nib" point the White and i put the thing back on it. Sometimes I put my hands back but always relying on the white that working with the flash is the delicate part ...
Thanks again!!!

Captain Stefano, I also use the continuous creeled light but only for focus and then I do everything I can for my Nikon flash which is for me the best both for chromatic rendering and power and versatility but strictly in manual ... and Not ttl or various automatisms, giving me the light. The cameras i choose the Adobe profile and possibly the photoshop rule only rarely tone levels and my Mac is a splendor to work the photos and videos for me there are no comparisons with other PCs !!!
