Nel bel nucleo del villaggio di Augio in Val Calanca si trova questa casa della famiglia Spadino. A cavallo del 20° secolo molti calanchini erano emigranti in Francia, attivi come vetrai o pittori. Al loro rientro abbellivano le case riportando i tratti delle costruzioni cittadine.
