Il Pantanal è un paradiso per l'avifauna: l'airone dal cappuccio, Pilherodius pileatus, è stato l'airone più bello che ho visto nel mio recente viaggio in queste zone. Purtroppo è anche difficile da vedere, questo è stato l'unico che sono riuscito a fotografare in un pomeriggio di agosto.
