Dopo aver passato la mattinata a fotografare il Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, ci siamo spostati indirizzandoci alla spiaggia di Kirkjufjara per ammirare il fantastico faraglione che emergeva dalla sabbia. Il mal tempo si stava avvicinando. Questo sarebbe stato l'unico giorno di pioggia del nostro viaggio di circa due settimane. Infatti, giunti a destinazione, ho realizzato qualche scatto prima che la pioggia prendesse il sopravvento. Le onde erano talmente forti che quando sbattevano contro gli scogli facevano tremare il terreno sottostante, per cui realizzare delle lunghe esposizioni era alquanto complicato.
