Eravamo nei pressi di Baita waterholes in cerca di Sciacalli avendoli visti in lontananza dirigersi verso questa pozza, ma con piacevole sorpresa ecco comparire dai cespugli del bush questa bellissima Iena maculata che frettolosamente decise di attraversare la strada davanti a noi per raggiungere una sua compagna nascosta nella vegetazione di fronte.
