This is the kind of shots that I like especially with these conditions, well executed.
I kept pdr slightly lower and / or backward to get a portion of the first floor more to the detriment of the sky, as with exposure chosen the effect is more interesting in the very first stone floor.
Congratulations good evening

Hello Federico, what you say is correct. In my defense I'll explain the situation: the strong storm had created a kind of embankment of rocks to the edge of the surf. The difference in height was about 20 cm, if I went two steps back to include the first floor with a pdr lower (I shoot), there would be a cut too sharp between stones and water (due to the different height) . At that point I went over the embankment and I placed the tripod directly on the shore at the mercy of the waves, so I could not lower it too (I still washed :-D SLR). Your suggestions are always useful, I should go to "school" you :-D, thank you so much !!!
Good evening to you too ;-)

I forgot to add if it was possible, I apologize for that.
I confirm that sometimes the compositional choice is bound by the conditions.
We all have to learn from everyone.
Have a nice day bye
Federico

Certainly Frederick, sometimes are the conditions to determine the composition, you have no alternative, unfortunately, this was one of those cases (in my opinion). However your suggestions are always welcome and always constructive, please see if I do stupid things bacchettami well :-D :-D. About this, I was not joking when I said that I would come to you at school, it would be an honor and a privilege aggregarmi when you exit camera !!! As I told you in the past, your shots are for me a point of arrival ... :-)
Best wishes ;-)

Beautiful shot and beautiful series of Vasto and surroundings
Compliments
I confirm that it is really hard to fix the tripod in the pebbled beach where he was executed the shot, if we add the steep slopes that are also modified with only the passage of an animal or a person

A greeting
Claudio
