Semplicemente incredibile! #AuroraBoreale #AuroraBorealis #Northernlight

In front of a show like that it is difficult to comment. What to say. aurora borealis can not remain indifferent. You have given due weight essential element inserting something still in the foreground to give a context to the show. One day I hope to be lucky enough to witness such beauty.

Well, definitely a return in grand style with a decidedly click "wow"!
I also like the composition, although maybe I tried to darken a bit 'the mountain to bring out better the sky. Staying there was to be a show!

Wow .... sure your subject helps but I think that the inclusion of the "tent" give character to the pictures ... while the tree on the left of the frame does not tell us much, and I think with a wide angle you could have done a more stringent better composition ... a little too open shadows ...
However much compliments stuff ..

Aaaah you have been to Tromsø, sooner or later I'll have to go there as well.
The shot is really good, good choice of vertical cut. The aurora is very well represented and despite a 2000 ISO the sky remained clean enough.

The bottom item is the skeleton of a Sami tent?

Thanks Nieves, Razor, Alessandro and Pier!
I think with a wide angle pushed more you could have done a better composition
I had the 14mm with me but I assure you that in those moments it was hard to think and I preferred not to complicate my life to change lens.
a little too open shadows ...
Consider that was no moon to illuminate the scene
The bottom item is the skeleton of a Sami tent?
That's right!

It is simply one of my photographic dreams ... technically I have nothing to say. I limit myself to admire the shot. Perhaps the only thing that "pops" are very open shadows: a double exposure might have helped.
However nicola congratulations !!!

I think it's one of those things to do at least once in life and already so congratulations for that. To pictures taken in various places of the world it is also assigned the function to give life to the viewer at least part of the wonder and beauty that fills the view and the goal. This picture I think it succeeds, Look for colors, both for the vertical cut, either by the "hut", in short, very good ;-)

I'm speechless. Wow what a show! Photos of the aurora borealis we have seen countless, but this I find it original in its composition. The decision to enter the building, the snowy ground, the stars, the dawn ... Everything really nice. Compliments.
ps
What envy! :-)

The sky is very well taken and the composition is almost perfect.
Andrei locally in the area of ??the ground to take away a bit 'of magenta cast in the snow and make it appear white, as well as to highlight the elements of the first floor with the beautiful Indian tent :-)

What about the northern lights There is also the Indian teepee. :-D
Why you have not taken advantage of those 3 mm more? You would have had a bit more of the ground, but above all more sky.
The brightest part ran away.
Despite everything, the picture is watched by virtue of the guest of honor.
And 'the only one you've done?

Thanks Philip, Fiosco, Gigga, Paul and Maserc!

The observation is very just, but in those moments of great emotion and frenzy I did not realize that the zoom ring was slightly off the edge of 24mm.
And 'the only one that you have done?
No, I have other shots 8-)

The photo is fantastic, looks like a painting, that structure them under is there and marvel at the aurora above it seems almost built according to the structure.
The vertical cut is strange in these shots, but there is.
But one pass of the color noise reduction needed.

Click that definitely deserves more 'like, it takes a noise reduction I would have left a little' more 'of space under and above turned a bit' shadows, the base way too clear for a night and would earn a bit of contrast, cmq very beautiful ....

The photo is wonderful looks like a painting, and the base from where you started is very good I would say, not everyone is lucky enough to see these spectacles that nature offers us.
The vertical cut is a good noise reduction would be the icing on the cake! :-)

The decision to make up with the skeleton of the tent makes the magic shot. In terms of pdr I might have liked a finger in more snow at the bottom, but I would say it is definitely a minor detail.
