My best wild deer shot, ever! Photographing these ponies grazing in the very cold mists yesterday morning, the antlers on this stag emerged from the left and I followed him, shooting all the time. He was on rut, marking his territory. A formidable sight, an encounter I will not forget in a hurry (he stood and faced me straight on, at one point, then carried on looking for a doe or two!)
