My second moon ... sent on October 24, 2016 (22:21) by Sar10. 19 comments, 1177 views.

at 270mm, 1/160 f/9.0, ISO 100, hand held.

Hello Danphotographer then that evening I took both freehand and with the tripod (piu'a free hand) a dozen shots trying various settings, from shutter speeds it is possible that it was made by hand.
A greeting
unless :-)

The shot is good .... but lays bare the limits of optics that fails to bring out the finer details.
All right, good exposure, still picture, correct focus.
The result is apprezzabilissimo. also tries to photograph her at an intermediate stage .... The full moon is interesting up to a point because you appreciate less the three-dimensionality and the shadows of mountains and valleys.
For best results of this are only different perspectives.
You have been able to bring out the best from the car-body system Objective ..... so a round of applause

In this type of photo it is irrelevant size of the sensor and it makes no sense to talk about crop factor. Sometimes it takes one and a half of focal to fill the short side of an APS with the size of the Moon, so a FF does not give any advantage, you would only have more useless black sky and indeed around the Moon would be smaller because the pixels they are on average larger.
When the subject is small in the frame count only the focal length and the pixel pitch, in this case we have 3.9 uM and believe it is among the smallest values ??existing in the market today.

Having a telescope from 300 mm (in diameter, not focal! :-D) Are accustomed to something else, but I do not recall having seen such a focal so short. About the combination of tiny pixels and fortune of the perigee.
