Scena cruenta in uno dei tanti affluenti del Cuiabà: abbiamo assistito quasi per intero alla pesca di un pesce gatto da parte di un caimano sul Cachirì (non sono sicuro si scriva così) Data l'abbondanza di pesce non è raro vedere una lontra gigante o un caimano mangiare un pesce ed i pesci gatto sono i più colpiti da questa fame feroce.
