#Giardini #Macro #Insetti #Fiori #Rosa #Verde

Hello Rinaldo, I state immediately that the picture I really like, both as maf that shot, but the Grasshopper description is wrong. The specimen (likely photographed Tettigonidae) nymph does not belong to the suborder Caelifera but rather Ensifera! In fact the main feature that distinguishes the two suborders are the length of the antennae, short = grasshopper, long = Ensifera. Also the auditory system "ears" is not missing, just is not positioned in the head, but rather in the tibias of the front legs, while the grasshopper is located in the first abdominal segment.

Greetings. Claudio ;-)

I try to express my thoughts / Rinaldo point of view on this macro, as always; the subject and 'interesting and the roost and' pleasant and almost doubles as a backdrop to the compo.
The shooting data but also the maf leave me rather puzzled (the muzzle and 'focus only partially but this would depend on the PDR from above and maybe even by motion or antenna impediment to the right and on the same side of the hind leg that might have disturbed the maf), gantry aperture ok, but because '2500 Iso? : - /
Best wishes, hello Claudio :-P

Dear Claudio,
As always, thanks for your detailed comments. :-P
It is the muzzle is in focus in part but do not know why, maybe F9.0 was not enough. ISO 2500 I chose them because I wanted a still image to 1/500 sec because there were little gusts of wind.
The front pdr, would not allow me to have the rose as a beautiful backdrop.
If anyone knows how to do to get even the snout in focus, come forward ;-)
Greetings
Rinaldo
