Too bad for the stars ... very elongated with shutter speeds that you shot ??? Theoretically you should keep 20-25, the maximum 30sec not to appreciate the pinpoint stars. ;-) Beautiful composition though :-D

I agree with what you say: I used a astroinseguitore, but it was not pointed properly, qnd mea culpa; unfortunately, often haste makes make some mistakes. I should have checked better photos done, but I just zoomed in and with a few enlargements the stars seemed to point; the shutter speed with ISO 800 was about 3 minutes. Sometimes also coming in 5 minutes and if pointing toward the north is correct the vision of the stars is point. Thanks for the comments. Greetings

alignment with Polar is pretty simple; There is a small compass and you have to be very precise in pointing the north. also it is very important to set the latitude of the place where you are shooting. in any case must be assessed on the night pictures carefully enlarging it; if the stars are not point it means that there were errors in the pointing and then realigns itself. There is also a polar telescope (optional) which facilitates the aiming. Many greetings
