La possibilità di tornare tra i cacciatori di teste mi ha fatto venire la voglia di andare a rivedere qualche vecchio scatto quando, a dire il vero, ancora avevo un approccio un po' meno consapevole.. Questa è una delle foto stampate per la mostra anche se l' ho completamente rivista perchè, così come era, non mi sembrava adatta per il web. Dutante una visita ad un Morung ( la casa comunitaria dove possono entrare solo gli uomini ) in uno dei villaggi del Nagaland, ho incontrato questo ex tagliatore di teste Konyak-Naga che, quando si è accorto della mia presenza alle sue spalle, si è girato osservandomi con aria molto divertita.. Il rosso alle labbra non è un errore di pp ma è dovuto al Betel che stava masticando. Per chi non lo avesse letto in precedenza, i cacciatori venivano tatuati dal re e dalla regina solo dopo aver portato nel villaggio almeno una testa di un nemico.
