Durante il viaggio questa se non ricordo male è stata l'unica volta che ho montato il Sigma sulla macchinetta, che altrimenti sarebbe sempre rimasto nello zaino; alla fine sono contento di essermelo portato, senza di lui non avrei potuto fotografare queste splendide foche intente ad aspettare il primo sole mattutino! Ero sulla spiaggia dall'altro lato della strada che fotografavo qualche iceberg arenato quando la situazione si era fatta veramente ridicola, con tipo 20 fotografi tutti intorno ai tre pezzi di ghiaccio che erano sulla spiaggia quella mattina (era veramente vuota!) e stavo perdendo il gusto di continuare a fotografare, se tanto dovevo star attento a non entrare nella foto di qualcuno e non far entrare qualcuno nelle mie foto.. Neanche fossi in città! Così prendo la mia roba e mi trasferisco alla laguna, dove finalmente ero completamente solo; non proprio, visto che ad aspettarmi c'erano una trentina di queste foche intente a dormire o a farsi una nuotata mattutina. Di solito però se ne stanno lontane dalla riva, il che rende il fotografarle un po' inutile se sullo schermo sono dei puntini; quella mattina invece erano davvero molto vicine alla riva ed essendo io il solo a godermi lo spettacolo in silenzio forse non si sono spaventate più di tanto e mi hanno dato l'opportunità di fotografarle in santa pace! Aggiungo come piccolo postulato che ho appena aperto il calendario con le date dei miei tour nel nord per la stagione 2018/2019 sul mio sito, quindi per coloro interessati a seguirmi in questi posti (ci sono partenze per Lofoten, Islanda e Lapponia) si faccia un giro sul mio sito www.leonardopapera.com .
