Potente migratrice, si disperde dai suoi luoghi di riproduzione poco dopo la schiusa. Individui prevalentemente singoli. E' attratta dalla frutta fermentata e dalla linfa degli alberi. Gli individui che hanno svernato amano i fiori di Salice.
