Il Gujarat da qualche anno è diventato il polo dell' energia verde in India grazie ai grandi campi fotovoltaici ed agli impianti eolici che stanno sorgendo come funghi e, sotto la supervisione del presidente Modi, stanno sorgendo parecchie grandi industrie... Ovviamente questo progresso accelerato sta cambiando molto velocemente il Gujarat e prima fra tutte le abitudini di buona parte della popolazione tribale tanto che già ora i segnali sono molto evidenti ed anche tra i Rabari, che pur essendo molto fieri e legati alle proprie tradizioni, sempre più spesso abbandonano gli abiti e lo stile di vita tradizionale.................................. COMPAGNI DI VIAGGIO Con l' amico Claudio, grandissimo conoscitore di India tribale e con il quale abbiamo condiviso il viaggio in Gujarat ( viaggiare con lui fa la differenza perchè si riescono a vedere cose che nemmeno le guide esperte conoscono... ) abbiamo deciso di organizzare un altro viaggio per fotografare le fiere dei cammelli e visitare aree sconosciute del Rajasthan ( può suonare strano ma ci sono anche in Rajasthan !! ) a Novembre e chi è interessato può contattarmi tramite mp.
