Hello! Congratulations first of all for the brave decision to have varied the classic pdr from that point. But personally I do not convincing at all and I'll explain why: first of all in the lower part there is "too much water" and this distracts a bit '. Already cropping the shot would become interesting. However I personally do not like it then that the stakes will go to overlap the skyscrapers, real protagonists of the shot. So, although as I said at the beginning the compositional choice is risky to "praise", for me the composition so it does not work and I would not see how it can be done differently from "classic" picture.
Of course all this analysis is dictated by a mere personal taste.
Greetings, Michael

Thanks Michele constructive comments like yours, unfortunately, are few, I'll explain right away why I used this pdr.
In trip to NY I had no tripod, I purchased a gorillapod by B & H in order to be able to make some shots at night, unfortunately the classic pdr is taken up by a road that goes down to a small beach of pebbles, already slightly raised above the water and from there they mount the tripod, by opening it to the maximum extent (approximately 1.5 m) but I've had to adapt placing the gorillapod upwards of boulders that were in the small cove of rocks.
