Riesco a preservare le linee diagonali che mostrano che non mi trovo in un terreno qualsiasi, ma su un vecchio cono vulcanico molto ripido. Taglio il meno possibile, voglio includere questi bellissimi bracci dell'albero morto, voglio includerli perché una estremità intercetta l'ultimo raggio di luce. Non mi abbasso di più perché rischio di non inquadrare lo sfondo.
La sensazione che hai percepito (e che comprendo) è dovuta probabilmente al fatto che il cielo, in quota, fosse completamente pulito. Ci fossero state delle nubi sarebbe sicuramente sembrata più 'bilanciata' l'inquadratura

Il Samyang è un ottimo obiettivo e come qualità generale di immagine non ha molto da invidiare all'Olympus.
Quel che cambia è la costruzione, l'AF e appunto il diaframma f/1.8 che è la vera peculiarità di questo Fisheye.
Il periodo non è quello adatto, ma dalle poche prove di fotografia notturna a cieli stellati intravedo un enorme potenziale.
A f/1.8 è perfettamente utilizzabile e un po' di fisiologica aberrazione cromatica ai bordi la si elimina in post produzione.
Insomma, con questo si colma il gap che poteva esserci tra il Micro 4/3 e sistemi con sensori più grandi e quindi più adatti a reggere sensibilità ISO elevate. Spero di avere occasione di provarlo presto e bene su questo fronte. Per quanto riguarda tutte le altre situazioni di scatto (con luce) sono pienamente soddisfatto.
