masterfully executed an image of a beautiful landscape ... this is the meaning of photography: share places and sensations with a single, beautiful image.

Beautiful picture! Compliments! I'm very fond of this lake (I'm from Edolo) because not everyone knows how to appreciate it! To make this photo you went up from where? Paisco, Salina? Brandeness I doubt about the presence of snow.

I add a bit: apparently this lake has no emissaries, but from the bottom there is a stream that can then be seen 150-200 meters below the lower altitude and then together with that from the Culvera form the Ogliolo! This creates micro-vortexes at the bottom of the lake but due to its depth they do not transmit to the surface and often the water stays firm and peaks on the ridges!

The glimpse you have taken is really nice especially for the presence of snow!

Hi Paolo thanks for the visit and for the info so detailed. The photo was taken from the top of Torsoleto and I climbed from PerdonIco. It was a first snowfall .... hopefully next winter! A warm greeting Toni
